What do careers in sports, healthcare, technology, the arts, law, and public service have in common? K alumni working in all of them are ready to talk with you!
During KConnect Week, December 1–3, Kalamazoo College students can connect with alumni across the country through Hornet Huddles, informal, 20-minute Zoom conversations about careers, experiences, and life after K. Whether you’re exploring a particular career, wondering what you can do with your major, or have absolutely no idea what’s next, there’s a Huddle for you. These aren’t job interviews, and you don’t need to prepare a formal introduction or have your future figured out. Just bring your curiosity and a few questions!
Who Can You Meet?
Nearly 30 K alumni are ready to connect, including professionals with experience at the Minnesota Twins, Henry Ford Health, the U.S. Department of State, Johnson & Johnson, Progressive Turnout Project, and The Posse Foundation. You’ll find alumni working in business, education, law, government, technology, the arts, healthcare, and more. Huddles are open to students of all majors and class years.
How It Works
- Browse the alumni (login requred). Explore their photos, career paths, and interests to find someone you’d like to meet.

- Join on Zoom. You’ll receive a calendar invitation with the Zoom link. Show upready for a conversation!
One important reminder: Alumni are setting aside time specifically for these conversations. Please check your calendar before booking and make sure you can attend.

You never know where a 20-minute conversation might lead. You could discover a career you didn’t know existed, get advice from someone who remembers being in your shoes, or make a connection that lasts beyond KConnect Week.
Registration closes November 13. Spaces are limited! Log in with your KNet ID to explore the full list and sign up for your Hornet Huddles.
