Sometimes, one conversation can open a door you didn’t even know existed. Hornet Huddles are informal 1:1 (or small group) meetings between Kalamazoo College alumni working in a wide range of careers. We tell students: A 20-minute meeting with a K alum in your field of interest could change your life. Or… if it doesn’t “change your life”, it can at least give you some solid direction/advice! Students, you don’t need to have your career figured out to participate. Just bring your curiosity and a few questions.

How Hornet Huddles work:

1. Explore alumni hosts. Read about participating alumni, their careers, and the topics they’re happy to discuss.
2. Choose a conversation. Select an alum whose experience interests you and reserve a 20-minute appointment.
   • Note: you’re welcome to book more than one Huddle! Just be sure you can attend each appointment you reserve.
3. Join on Zoom. Come with a few questions and enjoy an informal conversation. Some Huddles may include a small group of students.
4. Keep the connection going. If you’d like, connect with the alum afterward through KConnect or LinkedIn.
