Each year, the CCPD gathers data from graduating seniors through the College’s First Destination Survey. As of December 17, 2019, we had first destination data on 88% (261/295) of 2019 graduates.
By December 2019, among reporting graduates:
- 92% of those who sought employment had secured jobs.
- 15% were already enrolled in continuing education.
- 5% were engaged in Volunteer/Service opportunities such as Teach for America or the Peace Corps.
- Overall, 92% of the Class of 2019 were employed, in graduate school, in the military, or engaged in a gap/service year within six months of graduation.
In alignment with current national standards, paid service opportunities such as Teach for America, AmeriCorps, and the Peace Corps are considered Volunteer/Service Programs.
For previous years’ selected first destinations, please contact the CCPD.
For reported Senior Exit/First Destination Survey data from 2016-2022 divided by major please contact the CCPD at Career@kzoo.edu. Some graduates elected not to share their first-destination information, so this data by major does not include all graduates in the major.
